Anne Gresham, RN, CNS

Anne Gresham, MS, ARNP   is a 1983 graduate of the University of Minnesota Graduate School of Nursing. Her training focused on clinical psychiatric and mental health nursing as well as education. Her experience includes extensive work with family sexual abuse, sex offenders, trauma disorders, and both standard Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT). She has been instrumental in developing DBT Associates LLP and in assisting other programs in their development of DBT related services.

Chris Kvidera, LICSW

Chris Kvidera, MSW, LICSW , is a 1988 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Social Work. Her graduate training was a clinical track emphasizing Health and Mental Health. She spent several years working primarily with clients who have trauma related disorders. Since attending a 10 day intensive workshop with Dr. Marsha Linehan in 1997, Chris has been practicing DBT and  has developed effective Dialectical Behavior Therapy programs in out patient settings. Kristen Fritsinger, LICSW

Kristen Fritsinger, MSW, LICSW, is a 2000 graduate of the College of St. Catherine/
University of St. Thomas School of Social Work. Her graduate training emphasized clinical social work, primarily mental health. She spent numerous years working with adults who had serious and persistent mental illness, with a range of diagnoses. Kristen joined DBT Associates LLP in 2004 and completed the 10-day DBT Intensive Workshop with a team from DBT Associates LLP in 2006. She provides individual DBT therapy to adolescents and adults as well as co-facilitating  DBT Skills Training Groups. Kristen also has experience and expertise in providing traditional cognitive behavioral therapy and eclectic therapy for individuals who do not need DBT and yet are seeking help with emotional pain in their lives. James Powell, LICSW

James Powell, MSW,
LICSW, CPRP, is a 1993 graduate of the University of Saint Thomas/ College of Saint Catherine Graduate School of Clinical Social Work. His  graduate training was in systems theory and in families. His undergraduate focus was on Behavioral Science and Behavioral Modification and Medical Nursing. His experience includes extensive work in mood and anxiety dysregulation disorders, families and disorders related to trauma and abuse. He is a Certified Psychosocial Practitioner. Jim has been practicing specializing in Dialectical Behavior Therapy since 1994 and he completed the 10-day DBT Intensive Workshop in 2006.

Paul Ryals, MSW, LICSW

Paul Ryals, MSW, LICSW, obtained his Master’s degree in Social Work from Washburn University in 1998. He has been a DBT practitioner since 1998 and completed the DBT intensive workshop with Dr. Marsha Linehan in 1999-2000.
Paul incorporates into his DBT work with adult clients, training in cognitive therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for treatment of trauma and dysfunctional developmental patterns. Marilyn Reichman, MA, LP

Marilyn Reichman, MA, LP, received her degree in Psychology from St. Mary’s University in 1993. She is also an RN in the field of psychiatry. She has extensive experience in working with people who suffer with Chemical Dependency, and work with adolescents. In 2006 Marilyn completed the 10-day DBT Intensive Workshop with a team from DBT Associates LLP. She provides individual DBT and co- facilitates DBT Skills Training Groups for adolescents and adults.

Sue Venzke, LICSW

Sue Venzke, MSW, LICSW, graduated from the University of Iowa with an undergraduate and graduate degree in social work. She has worked in the mental health field for 32 years. Sue’s work in community mental health covers a variety of settings: partial hospitalization, day treatment, community support and residential. She has worked with a variety of client populations and has experience in individual and group therapy, staff development and training and program development and evaluation. Sue completed the 10-day DBT Intensive Workshop twice, the most recent with DBT Associates LLP in 2006. She has been using DBT in her work with clients since 2000.

Judy Brunsgaard, MA, MSW, LICSW

Judy Brunsgaard, , MA, MSW, LICSW graduated from University of St. Thomas / College of St. Catherine School of Social Work in 2008. In addition to Clinical Social Work studies, she is a 2006 graduate of College of St. Catherine’s Holistic Health Studies Master of Arts program focusing on health and wellness through complementary and alternative healing practices. Judy completed 10-day DBT training in 2012 and has experience with both individual DBT therapy and DBT Skills group co-facilitation. In addition, Judy utilizes EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.) and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy in her work with clients.
